Smart way to prepare for Banking Jobs

To understand the nature of the exam, you must first review the syllabus and exam pattern. Exam patterns and syllabuses can be found in the official notification. It is also possible to prepare for multiple banking exams simultaneously since the Bank exam syllabus and exam pattern are similar.

Spending 4 to 5 hours a day for your bank exam preparation is enough if you work 5 days a week for 8 to 10 hours each day. Preparation should not be stressful. We have provided some preparation tips and general tips below to help you prepare well for the exam by balancing your work and personal lives.

Exam Pattern Analysis

Analyze your exam pattern and syllabus before starting your exam preparation. Among the sections of the banking exam are:

1. Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude

2. General English

3. Reasoning Ability

4. Computer Knowledge

5. General Awareness

However, the exam pattern varies slightly. Because the syllabus and difficulty level of both bank exams are similar, preparing for one can be helpful for the other.

In all banking exams, the Quantitative Aptitude, General English, and Computer Knowledge sections have the same basic syllabus and level of questions as the Class 10 syllabus. So, the aspirants don’t have to learn anything from scratch.

A properly planned Reasoning Ability and General Awareness section can be easily managed. If you can study seriously for 2-3 hours daily, which is absolutely possible even if you work, then you are sure to succeed in any bank exam. Preparing a smart study plan is all you need to do.

You now need to create a realistic timetable. As a working aspirant, you will have difficulty studying regularly and for long hours. It is possible that you are tired some days and late in leaving the office on other days. Make a schedule no matter what. Be aware of all these factors as well as your needs, convenience, strengths and weaknesses, daily routine, etc.

During the weekdays, you should study 2-3 hours, and on weekends, you should study 5-6 hours. It may be necessary to manage your time and catch up over the weekend if you miss some days of studying.

It is important to cultivate reading habits for the English Language and General Awareness sections. You can read English newspapers or books while riding public transport to and from work. Alternatively, you can schedule half an hour in the morning for this purpose. Through reading, you can improve your knowledge of current affairs, vocabulary, etc.

A lot of theories, formulas, rules, steps to solve questions, etc., are required to understand and remember in General English, especially English grammar, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability sections. Spend an hour a day understanding the basics based on your strengths and weaknesses. Every day, study at least two sections. Studying basic hardware and software is all you need to do for the Computer Knowledge section. This section can be completed within half an hour if you dedicate half an hour each day to it.

Every time you finish learning the theory of a particular concept or topic, solve good practice questions to learn its application. Solving questions based on concepts you’ve studied for one hour to one and a half hours a day will suffice.
